Following Parkinson’s Day, the research laboratory on diseases of the nervous system, sensory system and disability organized in collaboration with MADSR, a symposium under the theme: “Parkinson’s disease: A multi-dimensional pathology”. This event was a tribute to the Moroccan Neuroscientist and esteemed researcher: Professor Abdelhamid Benazzouz.
Dr. Benazzouz is the first researcher to have revolutionized the therapeutic landscape of Parkinson’s disease by introducing the “Deep Brain Stimulation” technique for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease in Grenoble and initiated its implementation in Morocco.
